Baabda: President Joseph Aoun held a meeting at Baabda Palace on Sunday morning with Defense Minister Michel Mounir Menassa and a group of members of parliament to discuss deliberations related to a draft law on general amnesty and the exceptional reduction of certain sentences.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting included MPs Ashraf Rifi, Salim Sayegh, Michel Moawad, Ahmed Al-Khair, Bilal Abdullah, Waddah Sadek, Firas Hamdan, and Ghada Ayoub. Discussions focused on the proposed amendments and ongoing consultations regarding the scope and provisions of the draft amnesty law.
