Beirut:President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, held a phone conversation today with Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, offering his condolences for the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted mourners during a funeral service at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George in the Jordanian village of Hamoud - Karak Governorate.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, President Aoun reiterated his condemnation of this heinous crime, stressing that Lebanon stands firmly with Jordan, its King, leadership, and people. He also expressed his appreciation for the wise, patriotic stance taken by the Jordanian Monarch, as well as the broad public solidarity shown toward the residents of the village targeted by this denounced attack.
