Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday met with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert to review the general situation in the country in light of ongoing security and military developments and continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun also held talks with Central Inspection Authority head George Attieh on the progress of files under investigation, particularly those related to anti-corruption efforts.
