Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday held a meeting to review the security situation in light of recent developments and continued Israeli attacks, with Defense Minister Michel Menassa, Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar, and Army Commander Rodolphe Haykal. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on assessing the current security challenges facing the nation, particularly due to the ongoing Israeli attacks. Discussions were held to strategize on strengthening security measures and ensuring the safety of citizens amid these tensions. The officials emphasized the importance of maintaining vigilance and coordination among the defense and interior sectors to effectively counter any threats. President Aoun reiterated the government's commitment to safeguarding national security and supporting the armed forces in their efforts to protect the country.
