Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday discussed the current status and needs of T©l© Liban with Minister of Information Paul Morcos and the station’s newly appointed Chairperson and Director General, Elissar Naddaf.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on evaluating the operational challenges faced by T©l© Liban, Lebanon’s state-run television channel. The discussions encompassed a review of the current infrastructure, financial requirements, and potential areas for development to enhance the station’s broadcasting capabilities.
T©l© Liban, being an essential part of Lebanon’s media landscape, has been undergoing a period of transition, necessitating strategic planning and support from government bodies. The appointment of Elissar Naddaf as the new Chairperson and Director General is seen as a step towards revitalizing the station’s operations and programming.
Minister Paul Morcos emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting T©l© Liban in overcoming its challenges and ensuring it continues to serve the public with quality content.
