Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday received Lebanon's ambassador to Liberia, Bashir Sarkis, ahead of his posting to Monrovia, urging him to strengthen bilateral relations and attend to the needs of the Lebanese community.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a separate meeting, Aoun discussed with MP Michel Daher the country's general situation, focusing on the adverse economic, industrial, financial, and agricultural impact of the ongoing military escalation.
