Baku: The Media Center at Arab University: presented a special edition of its cultural salon on Radio Lebanon through a new episode of the "My Identity" podcast titled "Media in Times of Challenges." According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the episode featured Lebanon's Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, in a discussion with journalist Abir Ghazzal on issues related to media, identity, and public service amid the challenges facing Lebanon. Responding to the program's questions, Minister Morcos reflected on key milestones in his personal and professional journey, highlighting his legal, academic, and ministerial experience. He stressed that "justice and citizenship are the foundation for building institutions and strengthening trust in the state." The episode also examined the state of Lebanese media during times of crisis, the Ministry's role in combating misinformation and hate speech, and the importance of maintaining professionalism and national responsibility. In addition, it addressed the chal lenges associated with digital transformation and the future of media in the age of artificial intelligence. The discussion further explored cooperation between the Ministry of Information and universities. Minister Morcos emphasized the importance of investing in young people and preparing a new generation of media professionals capable of keeping pace with technological and professional developments. The episode also included remarks from Mohamed Nabulsi, a graduate of the university's Media Department, who shared the concerns of students and graduates regarding employment opportunities and the future of the media sector in Lebanon.
