Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claims that the United States has failed to uphold its obligations under the memorandum of understanding, asserting that Iran has honored its commitments while the U.S. Treasury Secretary violated Paragraph 9 of the agreement.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Araghchi expressed his concerns in a post on X, stating that the breach by the U.S. Treasury Secretary follows other violations and missteps by the United States. This statement comes in the wake of the U.S. Treasury imposing new sanctions targeting Iranian individuals and entities.

Araghchi emphasized the need for reciprocal adherence to the agreement, warning, "There can only be mutual compliance." His remarks highlight ongoing tensions between the two nations as they navigate their respective commitments under international agreements.
