Baabda: Archbishop Boulos Matar, head of the “National Affairs and Healing of Memory” Committee, expressed his confidence in President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun as a unifying figure during a visit to Baabda Palace with a delegation of bishops. Archbishop Matar emphasized that President Aoun “serves as a unifying umbrella for all Lebanese,” highlighting his belief in Aoun’s ability to lead Lebanon’s national recovery and bolster stability.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Archbishop Matar further elaborated on the committee’s ongoing efforts to unite Lebanese citizens and reconcile differing viewpoints. He underscored the importance of dialogue, the avoidance of strife, and the strengthening of national unity as core principles guiding the committee’s initiatives.
