The Lebanese Army announced on Facebook that its units have deployed around polling stations in various Lebanese regions, and are working to position temporary and permanent barriers and conduct patrols by foot and vehicles, to ensure a smooth and secure elections.

“The Army Ccommand calls on citizens to fully respond to the measures taken and to assume national responsibility for the success and completion of the electoral process,” the Army said.
