The Lebanese Army announced via Twitter today that “the Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, has left Beirut heading to the State of Qatar, at the invitation of his counterpart, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Pilot Ghanem bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim.”
