Beirut: Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal held significant meetings at his Yarzeh office on Tuesday, engaging with former MP Ghassan Moukheiber to deliberate over the general situation prevailing in the country.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, General Haykal also hosted Antoine Habib, the Chairman and General Manager of the Housing Bank, along with an accompanying delegation. Their discussions reportedly revolved around pertinent issues related to the Housing Bank’s operations and its role in the current economic landscape.

Further, General Haykal met with the Maronite Bishop of Baalbek-Deir El-Ahmar, Metropolitan Hanna Rahme. This discussion was aimed at addressing various issues concerning the local community and the church’s role in societal development.
