ARMY COMMANDER REVIEWS WITH DEL COL SITUATION ON SOUTHERN BORDER

Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, met this Wednesday with the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Major General Stefano Del Col. Discussions dealt with the general situation on the southern border and ongoing cooperation between the UNIFIL force and the Lebanese Army.

The Army Chief also welcomed Spanish military attaché, Colonel Gonzalo Crodone Hernandez, on a farewell visit during which he introduced his successor, Colonel José Alvaro.
