Army Intelligence Frees Two Kidnapped Syrians in Wadi Khaled

Beirut: The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation has announced the successful rescue of two Syrian nationals who were kidnapped in Beirut. The Intelligence Directorate conducted a series of security operations, leading to the liberation of the individuals, identified as (H.S.) and (B.S.), in Majdal - Wadi Khaled on February 23, 2026.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the victims were initially lured to the Cola area in Beirut on February 19, 2026. They were then abducted by a gang that subsequently demanded a ransom for their release. The Army Command has confirmed that investigations are ongoing to apprehend those responsible for the kidnapping.
