Beirut: Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, contacted today Armenian Orthodox Catholicos Aram I Keshishian, denouncing the murder of Archimandrite Anania Koujanian. Bassil expressed “full solidarity with the Armenian community,” demanding that “the most severe punishment be imposed on the perpetrators of the heinous crime.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Bassil also checked on the health condition of the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, following a medical ailment.
