Beirut: Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Gebran Bassil on Wednesday met UN Special Coordinator Jean Arnault to discuss developments in Lebanon and the wider region, as well as the United Nations' role in the current phase.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the talks focused on efforts to consolidate a comprehensive ceasefire, secure a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory, and address key political, security, and institutional challenges facing the country, alongside upcoming national priorities.
