Riyadh: Youth and Sports Minister Nora Bayrakdarian returned Saturday from the Saudi capital, Riyadh, after attending the opening ceremony of the sixth “Islamic Solidarity Games” at the invitation of her Saudi counterpart.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Minister Bayrakdarian was received by Khalid bin Abdullah AlGhligah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Digital Transformation. During her visit, she also met with the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi.

Bayrakdarian expressed appreciation for the organization and opening ceremony, highlighting the electronic displays, traditional Saudi folklore, and performances by the participating delegations. She emphasized that such events are characteristic of the Kingdom, which is preparing to host the World Cup.
