BEIRUT GOVERNOR MEETS WITH ARAB LEAGUE MISSION MONITORING ELECTIONS

Beirut Municipality’s Public Relations Department indicated in an issued statement today, that “the city’s governor, Judge Marwan Abboud, received in his office at the Municipal Palace a delegation from the League of Arab States monitoring the Lebanese parliamentary elections, headed by Arab League Assistant Secretary-General, Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi.”

“Abboud briefed the delegation on the measures taken for the course of the legislative elections in the city of Beirut with regards to the voting and counting operations within the capital,” the statement added.
