Beirut: Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud issued a decision today ordering the closure of all tourist establishments and commercial shops upcoming Tuesday, December 2, marking the celebration of Mass by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on the Beirut waterfront.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the decision involves the area of downtown Beirut, extending from President Sleiman Frangieh Tunnel – Fouad Chehab Avenue to Al-Saifi, starting from 12:00 AM until 2:00 PM on the same date.
