Beirut: First Investigative Judge in Beirut, Roula Othman, on Tuesday questioned Al-Manar TV correspondent Ali Brou in connection with charges filed by Beirut’s Appeals Public Prosecutor Raja Jamous. The charges include inciting sectarian tensions, provoking strife, insulting the president of the republic, and inciting the killing of members of the Lebanese Army.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, at the end of the session, Judge Othman issued a formal arrest warrant against Brou, who was returned to detention at the Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces.
