Beirut: Beirut Port Authority on Thursday announced the launch of new electronic payment methods for port fees, alongside existing on-site cashiers, as part of its digital transformation strategy aimed at simplifying procedures, accelerating transactions and enhancing transparency.
According to National Nws Aency - Lebanon, in a circular to stakeholders, the administration said payments can now be made through the port's office platform CAMA, as well as through the banking network, Net Commerce online payments, and credit cards. This initiative is designed to save time and effort while aligning with modern operational needs.
The authority added that additional payment solutions are being developed and will be rolled out progressively.
