Beit lif: Beit Lif Mayor Izzat Hammoud confirmed that the municipality was notified via the "Mechanism" committee of a request, based on Israeli allegations, to inspect four homes suspected of storing weapons. The Lebanese Army and the committee conducted the inspection and found no weapons or military equipment. Hammoud stated that the Israeli claims are false and baseless.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the inspection was carried out thoroughly, ensuring all protocols were followed by the Lebanese Army and the committee. The investigation was prompted by allegations from Israel, which claimed that the homes were being used to store weapons. However, no evidence was found to support these allegations.

Hammoud emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and security in the region and reassured residents that the municipality would continue to uphold transparency and cooperation with relevant authorities. He reiterated that the allegations were unfounded and intended to disrupt the community's stability.
