Baabda:President Joseph Aoun recently met with Elias Al-Baino, President of the Union of Keserwan-Ftouh Municipalities, and a delegation of Keserwan lawmakers at Baabda Palace to discuss pivotal regional projects.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the delegation emphasized the need for decentralized waste management, proposing the Ghazir-area Ghosta waste treatment facility as a viable solution backed by all municipalities in the Keserwan region.

Additionally, the discussions covered strategic infrastructure developments, notably the widening of the Nahr El-Kalb-Nahr Ibrahim highway and the expansion of the road connecting Zouk Mosbeh to Faraya.

Al-Baino conveyed that President Aoun expressed interest in these proposals, committing to follow up and support efforts to address residents' needs and facilitate development throughout Keserwan-Ftouh.
