Berri Engages with Egyptian Prime Minister on Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and his delegation at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The meeting included discussions on recent developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the strengthening of bilateral relations between Lebanon and Egypt.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Egyptian delegation comprised Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Transport, Lieutenant General Kamel al-Wazir; Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mahmoud Esmat; Secretary-General of the Egyptian Cabinet, Major General Alaa Qassem; First Assistant to the Egyptian Prime Minister, Engineer Randa al-Finshawi; Advisor to the Prime Minister, Hani Younis; and the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Cabinet, Mohamed al-Homsani.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Egypt to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa; Lebanon's Minister of Industry, Joe Issa Khoury; the Lebanese Ambassador to Egypt, Ali al-Halabi; and Speaker Berri's Media Advisor, Ali Hamdan. The discussion reportedly focused on the latest developments concerning Lebanon and the broader region.

In a separate meeting, Speaker Berri received Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Taleb in Ain al-Tineh, further engaging in discussions pertinent to the ongoing regional and domestic issues.
