Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with French presidential envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian and his delegation at Ain El-Tineh, in the presence of French Ambassador Herv© Magro. The discussions centered around Lebanon’s political and security developments, as well as the state of Lebanese-French relations.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Berri also engaged in talks with former Deputy Prime Minister Elias Murr, who was accompanied by MP Michel Murr. These discussions focused on the latest political developments, national affairs, and the overall situation in the country.
In a separate meeting, Berri conferred with Imran Riza to address the repercussions of ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon. The conversation emphasized displacement issues, humanitarian needs, and the role of United Nations programs operating within the country.
