Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri hosted several significant meetings at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. Among the notable attendees was Walid Bukhari, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon. The discussions focused on the overall developments and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri also met with Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal. The Army chief provided insights into his recent foreign trips, including his visit to Saudi Arabia and participation in the Munich Security Conference. They deliberated on preparations for the Army Support Conference, as well as the current security situation, particularly in response to Israel's ongoing actions against Lebanon.
Additionally, Speaker Berri received Majida Karaki, Lebanon's Ambassador to Ivory Coast, further underscoring the day's focus on international relations and diplomatic engagements.
