Berri Extends Greetings on Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri extended greetings to the Lebanese people in general, Muslims, and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. Berri expressed hope that the occasion would serve to revive the noble values of faith and mission embodied by the Prophet Muhammad - "mercy and hope in his birth, and the fulfillment of noble morals in his prophethood."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri added that the Prophet's birthday, like all religious and spiritual occasions, should serve as a daily opportunity to uphold and practice the values and teachings rooted in justice and the preservation of human dignity. "By doing so, we become the best nation brought forth for mankind," Berri said.
