Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri paid tribute to the Lebanese Army on the occasion of its 81st anniversary, describing it as a model of unity, national identity, sacrifice, and loyalty. Berri emphasized the army's role in defending a united Lebanon, contrasting it with regions affected by Israeli occupation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri stated that the army is integral to Lebanon and all its citizens, playing a central role in protecting sovereignty, liberating occupied land, safeguarding citizens, and maintaining stability and civil peace. He expressed gratitude to the army commander, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, fallen personnel, and wounded troops.

Berri affirmed the importance of the army in protecting Lebanon, contributing to its revival, and completing the liberation of its land. He emphasized the shared responsibility and partnership with the army in achieving these goals.
