Beirut: House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday held a phone call with Pakistan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, commending Islamabad's efforts that contributed to the ceasefire at the regional level.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri asked the ambassador to convey Lebanon's position regarding Israel's failure to adhere to the agreement and its continued attacks on Lebanese territory, particularly in the south.
