Beirut: The British Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (BLCC) has officially joined the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) International Network, marking a significant milestone that bolsters the Chamber's capacity to connect its members with the broader UK and international business community.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the BCC International Network unites over 75 international Chambers of Commerce and business groups worldwide, directly linked to Chambers of Commerce in every UK region. This strategic move allows the BLCC to foster tangible opportunities for its members through business introductions, trade and investment options, international networking, knowledge-sharing, events, and trade missions.

Farid Chedid, Chairman of the BLCC, emphasized that joining the BCC International Network provides the BLCC with a robust global platform to support its members, create new business opportunities, and strengthen commercial ties between Lebanon and the United Kingdom. H.E. Hamish Cowell, British Ambassador to Lebanon and Honorary President of the BLCC, highlighted this development as an important milestone that will further connect the Lebanese and British business communities, facilitating new opportunities for trade, investment, and collaboration. He reiterated the British Embassy's commitment to supporting the BLCC in building meaningful connections between businesses in both countries.

Yasmine El Hajj, CEO of the BLCC, expressed the Chamber's focus on transforming this global connection into tangible value for its members, opening doors to new markets, business connections, expertise, and opportunities across the UK and internationally. The BLCC's membership in the BCC International Network reinforces its mission to serve as a trusted bridge between the British and Lebanese business communities, promoting bilateral trade, investment, and sustainable economic growth.
