Bou Saab Discusses Electoral List Efforts and Condemns Israeli Actions

Ain El-Tineh: Deputy House Speaker, Elias Bou Saab, announced on Thursday, following a meeting of the Parliament Bureau chaired by House Speaker Nabih Berri at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, that “there are attempts to reach an agreement among the parties on a full electoral list for Beirut that ensures parity, but nothing is guaranteed at the moment.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Bou Saab emphasized that “municipal elections are ongoing and there will be no changes to the electoral law at the present time.” He also highlighted that the Parliament Bureau condemned Israel’s ongoing aggression and urged the government to act swiftly to stop the violations.
