Beirut: The Brazilian Government has expressed its approval of a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, aimed at ending the conflict that erupted on February 28 in the Middle East. In a statement issued by the Brazilian Embassy in Beirut, Brazil emphasized the significance of this development and showed support for the agreement's provisions.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Brazil acknowledged the critical mediation roles played by Pakistan and Qatar, with additional support from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey, in facilitating the agreement. The Brazilian Government has called on all involved parties to adhere strictly to the agreed terms, emphasizing the importance of halting hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.

Furthermore, Brazil urged for continued engagement in good-faith negotiations and the strengthening of mutual trust among the parties involved. This, Brazil believes, is essential to achieving a comprehensive peace agreement that ensures lasting stability and security in the Middle East, particularly in the State of Palestine, encompassing both Gaza and the West Bank.

Reiterating its stance on diplomatic dialogue, Brazil conveyed its belief that such communication is the sole path toward enduring peace in the region.
