Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP Georges Bushkian, met today in his office at the ministry with the President of the “Nexans France” group, the parent company of Liban Cable, Jean Mouton, and the Executive Vice President, Vijay Mahadevan.

Bushkian welcomed the French delegation, stressing “adherence to historical and current ties with France, which supports Lebanon politically and economically.”

Talks touched on “cooperation in the field of business and the issue of French investments in Lebanon, especially encouraging joint investment.”

The conferees also discussed projects to rehabilitate, recycle, manufacture and export copper and benefit from its manufacture of cables used in solar energy equipment.
