Beirut:The Cabinet has approved the establishment of alternative energy power plants, while deferring discussion on certain agenda items until the next session, scheduled for Thursday. This announcement was made by Information Minister, Attorney Paul Morcos, during the Cabinet session.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the electricity sector remains a critical issue under close scrutiny. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam recently met with Energy Minister Joe Saddi to deliberate on strategies to increase power supply hours and secure essential resources.
