Baabda: The Council of Ministers gathered for its regular session at Baabda Palace, chaired by President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun. The meeting, which commenced at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, was attended by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and various ministers.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, President Aoun and Prime Minister Salam engaged in a bilateral meeting before the cabinet session to discuss the current general situation in the country and the latest developments. The cabinet’s agenda comprises forty items, including agreements, draft laws, draft decrees, appointments, and employment matters.
A significant point of discussion is a presentation by the Ministry of Environment, detailing the reference framework for methodologies and mechanisms of intervention within the reconstruction process. The Cabinet will also focus on addressing urgent matters that require immediate decisions.
