Baabda: The Cabinet on Thursday convened its regular session at Baabda Palace under the chairmanship of President Joseph Aoun, with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and ministers in attendance.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the session was preceded by a meeting between Aoun and Salam to review current developments. On the agenda are draft laws including amendments to the banking sector reform framework and provisions related to appointments to first-category public sector positions.

The Cabinet is also set to examine routine items, administrative matters, and urgent files, with decisions to be taken accordingly.
