Washington: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Saturday that it destroyed three oil tankers belonging to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) after Iran targeted two US Navy warships.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, CENTCOM stated in a post on its X platform that its forces conducted airstrikes on three Iranian crude oil tankers on September 5th. This action was in response to the IRGC launching ballistic missiles at two US Navy warships patrolling international waters.
