CHANGE MPS WALK OUT OF PARLIAMENT SESSION

The MPs of Change have walked out of the parliament session devoted to discussing President Michel Aoun’s letter.

In a statement, the MPs explained that the parliament has become an electoral body as of the midnight of October 31, and that therefore, it must only convene to elect a president of the republic.

It is to note that the bloc comprises MPs Ibrahim Mneimneh, Elias Jradi, Paula Yacoubian, Halime Kaakour, Rami Fenj, Firas Hamdan, Michel Doueihi, Melhem Khalaf, Waddah Sadek, and Yassine Yassine.
