Beirut:Agriculture Minister Dr. Nizar Hani expressed gratitude to President Joseph Aoun for his continuous support of Lebanon's agricultural sector, particularly in facilitating apple exports. This follows the announcement of a $1 million initiative by CMA CGM Chairman and CEO Rodolphe Saadé, made in response to President Aoun's request.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the initiative will offer discounted refrigerated container shipping rates through CMA CGM to various Arab ports, including East Port Said in Egypt, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and Tripoli, Misrata, and Benghazi in Libya.
