DIAB MEETS ITALIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER

NNA – Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, received at the Grand Serail the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Marina Sereni, heading a delegation that included: Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardiere, Deputy Director of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Luca Gori, First Secretary at the Italian Embassy, Emmanuel D’Andrassi, and Sereni’s Office Director, Giuseppe Cavagna, in the presence of Prime Minister’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Ambassador Gebran Soufane. The interlocutors deliberated on the need to expedite Cabinet formation and emphasized Italy’s support and assistance to Lebanon in all fields. —-PCM Press Office
