DIAB RECEIVES HEALTH MINISTER, BANKS ASSOCIATION CHAIRMAN

Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, met Tuesday at the Grand Serail with Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Hamad Hassan.

Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Hassan indicated that talks touched on the figures freshly announced by the governor of the central bank.

“These figures must be verified before their disclosure,” said the minister.

Diab later met with chairman of the Association of Banks in Lebanon, Salim Sfeir, over the financial and banking situation, as well as the latest political developments.

Separately, Diab contacted MP Faysal Karame upon the 34th martyrdom anniversary of prime minister Rashid Karame.
