Beirut: Minister of Economy, Amer Bisat, on Monday received U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, in his office at the Ministry. Minister Bisat briefed the US Ambassador on the Ministry of Economy's work plan and the Ministry's achievements for the current year, in addition to the draft law on financial regularization and deposit recovery, which aims to stimulate growth, remove Lebanon from the grey list, and reintegrate it into the global economy.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussion between Minister Bisat and Ambassador Issa focused on the critical steps Lebanon is taking to address its economic challenges. The draft law on financial regularization and deposit recovery was highlighted as a pivotal initiative to restore economic stability and enhance international confidence in Lebanon's financial system.
