Baabda: Education Minister Rima Karami on Thursday announced that the Cabinet has canceled the official examinations for the General Secondary Certificate and the Technical Baccalaureate for the 2025-2026 academic year.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, students will instead receive certificates of successful completion based on school assessment results, provided they achieve a minimum average of 9.5. Karami also announced an exceptional examination session for private candidates, students who failed their school assessments, and successful students who urgently require an official certificate.
