Beirut: Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, on Thursday received in her office at the ministry, the Ambassador of Brazil to Lebanon, Tarcisio Costa. They discussed ways to enhance educational cooperation, including through academic mobility, and to expand the teaching of Portuguese language.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, both parties explored potential collaborations that could see an increase in academic exchanges between the two countries. The discussions also focused on implementing programs that would encourage the learning of Portuguese in Lebanon, thereby fostering greater cultural and educational ties.

The meeting signifies a step towards strengthening bilateral relations through education, with an emphasis on mutual benefits for students and educators in both nations.
