Egypt: Egypt has called on the United States and Iran to capitalize on the current opportunity to reach an agreement that would help bring the war to an end, following U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to cancel planned military strikes against Iran.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a statement issued overnight, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry welcomed Trump's announcement, describing it as a positive step that could help reduce tensions.

Cairo expressed hope that the opportunity would be used to resolve outstanding issues between the two sides, paving the way for an end to the conflict and the beginning of a new phase of regional stability. The ministry stressed the importance of diplomacy and dialogue in addressing current challenges and preventing further escalation in the region.
