ESA Business School and L’Oréal Liban, subsidiary of the L’Oréal Group, world leader in beauty, are proud to have signed a partnership for female entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment at ESA campus on Thursday February 16th, in the presence of Mrs. Emilie WAHAB HARB, Executive General Manager of L’Oréal Liban, Mr. Maxence DUAULT, General Director of ESA Business School, as well as representatives of NGOs, UN, and Global Compact network Lebanon.

This partnership confirms and corroborates the commitment of L’Oréal Liban and ESA Business School to stand alongside women who want to be entrepreneurs, to give them the means and support needed to take the place they deserve in society, and to be agents of change in a country and a world that is in a great need for this.

L’Oreal sense of purpose is to “create the beauty that moves the world”. In light of its purpose, L’Oreal has long been committed to working alongside women, encouraging them to embrace their ambitions, to have confidence in themselves and regain control of their destiny. it expresses this commitment through a series of concrete and varied actions, to build with them, a world that is fair, diverse and inclusive.

ESA Business School, a leading management school in Lebanon dedicated to the training of executives and leaders from Lebanon and the Middle East, has long put gender equality and support for women’s entrepreneurship at the heart of its values, as well as trainings and events. Thus, ESA, in partnership with the CCI France Lebanon, has implemented actions such as the “Women in leadership” program launched in 2017, the multi-year “Parcours de Femmes” round tables aimed at sharing with its community exceptional and inspiring women’s journeys, or the “Ailes pour Elles ” program exclusively dedicated to the well-being and personal development of women in Lebanon.

In his speech, Mr. Maxence DUAULT recalled that this dimension of women empowerment was in the DNA of the school and stressed on the importance of supporting women entrepreneurs allowing the emancipation and the advent of a force creating change for the planet and a fortiori for Lebanon.

Thanking L’Oréal and its Executive Manager Ms. Emilie WAHAB, Mr. Duault welcomed the natural meeting and values-based partnership between ESA and L’Oréal. He also recalled that gender equality was part of ESA’s strategic orientations plan and insisted on the fact that this partnership would very quickly translate into concrete actions, in particular the Boost ‘HER program.

The first major concrete action resulting from ESA and L’Oréal partnership will be the launching of the Boost’HER program created to support women entrepreneurs and their ideas and projects of startups. To implement this program, the partners will rely on the expertise and know-how of the CCI France Lebanon.

The partners will -therefore offer a 4-months support program, from April to July 2023, including professional training, site visits and meetings with Lebanese women entrepreneurs in the different Lebanese regions, personalized follow-up, as well as access to the CCI business center France Lebanon, LeBooster Beirut, which will allow participants to work in the best possible conditions.
