Adaisseh: An explosion at a United Nations site near the Al-Adaisseh area has resulted in injuries to three peacekeepers, with two sustaining serious wounds. They are currently being transported to the hospital, and the cause of the explosion remains unknown, stated UNIFIL spokesperson Candice Ardell.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this incident comes during a challenging week for peacekeepers operating in the central area of UNIFIL's mission. Ardell expressed hopes for a speedy and full recovery for those injured.

She also emphasized the importance of all parties fulfilling their responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of peacekeepers. Ardell reminded involved parties to avoid any combat activities in proximity to peacekeepers that could jeopardize their safety.
