Beirut: MP Hassan Fadlallah on Monday expressed gratitude to Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy for his condemnation of Israel's bombing of a residential neighborhood in Bint Jbeil. Fadlallah criticized Lebanese authorities for their silence on the issue and accused them of legitimizing Israel's presence through the framework agreement.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Fadlallah dismissed Israeli claims concerning border villages. He emphasized that both Christian and Muslim villages are integral parts of Lebanon's national and social structure.
