Beirut: Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah has criticized authorities, claiming their recent actions amount to "sedition." He emphasized that Hezbollah will continue to be vigilant, stating, "our finger will remain on the trigger, and nothing we do not approve of will pass."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Fadlallah made these remarks at a memorial ceremony organized by Hezbollah in Ain el-Delbeh, located in Beirut's southern suburbs. He highlighted that the resistance was forced to arm itself "to defend its existence and liberate the land," citing the absence of a state capable of protecting its citizens. He accused the current authorities of prioritizing foreign loyalties over the interests of the Lebanese people.

Fadlallah alleged that the authorities have signed a "surrender document," which he claims undermines national sovereignty. He accused them of "selling the south and its people" and absolving Israel of accountability for its actions. He further criticized the government for violating the constitution and the National Pact, claiming they are attempting, with U.S. support, to "upset Lebanon's national balance" and dictate the future of the south.

He firmly stated that any attempts to disarm the resistance "will never be realized," likening the prospect to "as impossible as Satan entering paradise." Fadlallah argued that the agreement benefits Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu more than Lebanon.

The remarks were made during a memorial ceremony honoring Ali Al-Rida Haidar Faqih, with religious figures, local dignitaries, the families of fallen fighters, and residents in attendance.
