Fayadieh:Roadworks in Fayadieh, initially planned to repair a pothole and repave a section of the road, have expanded following the discovery of a major leak in a main water line.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport stated that the necessary authority was called in to address the water leak. Additionally, high-voltage electricity lines were found underground within the work area, necessitating coordination with electricity authorities to ensure safety and prevent repeated excavation.

The ministry explained that the project had transformed from a simple road repair to a more complex infrastructure intervention involving multiple administrative bodies and technical teams. It acknowledged the impact on traffic and emphasized ongoing efforts to expedite the work. Final roadworks will proceed once the repairs to the water and electricity networks are complete.
